Cooking and Baking
Cooking is one of my passions. I started helping my mom in the kitchen as soon as I could reach the counter and I haven't left since. We are known among our friends and family for making delicious meatballs and sauce. Along with this passion, I love to feed people. Each semester, I bring in baked goods for my students to reward them for their hard work. I have even used a Bundt cake as a demonstration for finding the volumes of solids in Calculus.
Traveling
I love all of the experiences that traveling provides. It's fun to meet new people, see historical landmarks, try different cuisines, and become immersed in a new culture. I've traveled within the United States to places such as San Diego, San Francisco, Washington DC, Phoenix, Orlando, Hawaii, and Seattle (to name a few). I've also traveled outside of the United States to France, Spain, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Greece. I believe that Mathematics is a universal language and this creates many unique opportunities to travel.
