Math 130, Math in the Social Sciences, Summer 2010
Math for the Social Sciences is a freshman level class taken by students in the humanities and social sciences. Topics covered in class included: voting theory, scheduling, Euler and Hamilton circuits, apportionment, and basic statistics. Class sessions consisted of lectures and hands-on group work. Students also completed a project in which they found occurrences of mathematics in their hobbies and daily lives.
