Student Comments
"Cory understood the subject thoroughly and communicated to each student very well. Her willingness to explain and re-word things in a way we all could understand was far above and beyond (better) any other math class I have taken. Cory is a great teacher, very dedicated, professional, kind and helpful in many ways inside and outside of the classroom."
"Cory does an excellent job of explaining complex concepts concisely and then provides copious examples while continuing to clarify the concepts throughout. The highest praise I can give is that if she is teaching a course I need to take later along with someone else I will choose Cory."
"Best math class that I've ever taken. Cory was an excellent teacher, she knew the subject matter well and her enthusiasm and interest in the material showed through every day."
"My favorite instructor by far. Your teaching style is great. Very organized and prepared. I am happy you are always available and willing to help."
"Cory cared a lot about her students learning and made herself available by office hours, email, or by appointment. She did a great job making an intimidating subject palatable. Thank you very much!"
"Excellent pacing, exams were fair, plenty of resources with solved HW problems, office hours and "helpful guides" on RamCT. Cory was great and very knowledgeable and helpful."
"Your style of teaching made the material appear less challenging which makes it easier to succeed."
"Cory did a good job with teaching the subject along with enjoying her work. Her teaching was clear so it was easy to learn the subject. Plus she makes good muffins!"
"Cory was very helpful in class, although she could have skipped some of the algebra when working out examples. I appreciated the amount of preparation she put into class sessions."
"Good job Cory."
"Cory was very enthusiastic about her teaching, even brought muffins to stay awake at 7:30! Also she was always willing to meet outside of class and work around our schedules. Even though I was working she made time to meet."
"Good jokes, clear instruction and teaching methods. Best teacher I've had in a CSU math course so far."
